Refund Policy

The Australian Warmblood Horse Association Limited is a registered company under the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and complies with the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Refunds will only be issued by the Australian Warmblood Horse Association Limited under the following circumstances:

1. Incorrect payment to the Australian Warmblood Horse Association Limited bank account

2. The person does not wish to continue with their membership application.

3. The person does not wish to proceed with the registration of a horse.

4. The person does not wish to continue to arrange for DNA (FFS) testing.

5. The person does not wish to continue with the transfer of ownership of a horse.

6. The person has made an overpayment for a particular service.

Refunds will not be given in circumstances where payment has been received for an event conducted by the Australian Warmblood Horse Association Limited unless a veterinary certificate is provided as a valid reason to withdraw from the event and the person has requested a refund. Compulsory fees such as administration fees may not be refunded in these circumstances.

The Australian Warmblood Horse Association Limited may give a refund where a horse has been euthanised prior to the completion of the registration or transfer of ownership processes. Proof that the horse has been euthanised must be provided.

In all cases a refund must be requested in writing via email to the Financial Administrator (finance@awha.com.au) along with details of the name of the person requesting the refund, and the person’s bank BSB and Account numbers to enable a direct deposit refund.
