Donero (Imp) - Don Darius x Larissa (Lauries Crusador xx)
Don Darius is sired by the top hereditary transmitter Don Frederico. Don Darius was Reserve Champion of the 300 day Performance Test and he finished second in dressage with 139.73 points and was 12th in jumping. This is the second son of Don Frederico to be stabled at Celle State Stud.
Don Darius became Reserve Champion in the dressage as well as the overall index. This blood-influenced colt created a stir already as a foal. At his Performance Test he showed three far above average basic gaits and very good rideability which points the way for a successful future. He gained 8 for character, 8 temperament, 8 willingness, 8 ability to perform, 9 rideability, 7.11 jumping ability, 8.84 trot, 8.92 canter, 9 walk.
Donero's dam sire, Thoroughbred stallion Lauries Crusador xx, was proclaimed Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2006 at the 2006 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden, Germany. The nomination of the 15th "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year" was one of the highlights of this year’s Stallion Licensing. It was the first time that a Thoroughbred stallion was honoured with this award: These last few years, Celle State Stud Stallion Lauries Crusador xx has certainly had a considerable influence on the Hanoverian breed.
This bit of 'blood' well etched into Donero's breeding makes him an absolute athlete, designed to excel in the dressage arena. Donero is also a serious eventing sire consideration with his ground covering gallop and excellent jumping ability. He is an absolute pleasure to have around the stable and will produce progeny that is suited to both the serious professional and amateur alike.
